Industrial Machinery Mechanic

An industrial machinery mechanic keeps the motors, pumps, conveyors, and production machines in a factory or plant running — inspecting them, diagnosing what's worn or out of alignment, replacing bearings and parts, and recalibrating after a fix. They move between machines across a shift, often working from vibration, sound, and service history to find a fault before a line goes down.

They work in manufacturing plants, food processors, and utilities, often on shifts and on call for breakdowns. The role suits mechanically inclined people who like figuring out how things work, can read a schematic, and want a hands-on role where keeping equipment running is the whole job.
