Solar panel installer
Description
A solar panel installer mounts and connects the photovoltaic systems that generate electricity from sunlight. They assess and prepare roofs or ground sites, install mounting hardware and panels, run wiring, connect inverters and electrical systems, and test the system to ensure it produces power safely and to code.
The work combines roofing-style physical labor with electrical knowledge, much of it outdoors and at height, in a fast-growing renewable-energy field. Installers work for solar companies on homes and commercial buildings.
The job suits fit, practical people who want hands-on trade work with a clear environmental purpose and the steady demand of a clean-energy industry that keeps expanding.
