Product manager
Description
A product manager decides what a product should do and guides it from idea to launch and beyond. They research user needs and the market, define the product strategy and roadmap, prioritize what to build, write requirements, and coordinate engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to deliver — owning the why and what while teams own the how.
The role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience, requiring influence without direct authority over the teams involved. PMs work across tech and increasingly every industry.
The job suits people who can hold the whole picture, make hard prioritization calls, and align many stakeholders around a shared direction.
