Data center technician

A data center technician installs, maintains, and repairs the physical servers, storage, and networking equipment that power data centers. They rack and cable hardware, monitor equipment and environmental conditions, replace failed components, troubleshoot physical issues, and keep the facility's critical infrastructure running around the clock.

The role is hands-on and physical, working among rows of humming racks, often on shifts since data centers never sleep. Technicians work for cloud providers, colocation facilities, and large enterprises.
