IoT engineer
Description
An IoT engineer designs and builds connected devices — the sensors, appliances, wearables, and industrial equipment that gather data and communicate over networks. They develop the embedded hardware and software, handle connectivity and protocols, manage data flow to the cloud, and address the power, security, and reliability challenges of devices that must run unattended.
The role spans embedded systems, networking, and cloud, working across the full stack from physical device to backend. IoT engineers work in consumer electronics, manufacturing, smart-home, and industrial sectors.
The job suits engineers who enjoy connecting the physical and digital worlds and solving the constraints of small, networked, always-on devices.
