Molecular biologists study life at the level of DNA, RNA, and proteins, investigating how genes are expressed and regulated inside cells. The work is heavily bench-based: cell culture, cloning, gene editing, protein purification, and imaging, followed by careful interpretation of results that rarely behave exactly as predicted.
