Videographer
Description
A videographer shoots and often edits video — for events, documentaries, corporate work, weddings, and the web — operating the camera, setting the lighting and sound, capturing the footage, and cutting it into a finished piece. On smaller jobs they handle the whole pipeline alone; on larger ones they join a crew.
They work freelance or for production companies and in-house media teams, often on evenings and weekends when events happen. The role suits visually alert people who like handling gear, can work fast on site, and don't mind irregular hours.
