Anesthesia technician

An anesthesia technician supports anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists by preparing and maintaining the equipment and supplies used to sedate patients. They set up and check anesthesia machines, monitors, airway tools, and medications before procedures, troubleshoot equipment during surgery, restock and clean afterward, and assist the anesthesia team during critical moments.

The role keeps the technical backbone of anesthesia care reliable and ready, requiring familiarity with complex equipment and OR protocols.
