Financial planning associate
Description
A financial planning associate supports financial advisors in serving clients and building financial plans. They gather and analyze client financial information, prepare plans and recommendations, run projections and research, handle paperwork and follow-up, and help advisors deliver advice — learning the business while doing much of the analytical and preparatory work behind client relationships.
The role is a common entry into financial advising, blending analysis, client support, and learning the craft. Associates work at advisory firms, banks, and wealth managers.
The job suits detail-oriented, personable, ambitious people who are interested in financial planning, enjoy both analysis and client support, and want to build the experience and relationships to become a full financial advisor over time.
