Description
A packaging designer creates the physical packaging of products — structure, graphics, and materials — balancing brand identity, shelf appeal, usability, and manufacturing and regulatory constraints. The work spans concept, dielines and structural design, artwork, and preparing files for print and production.
Designers collaborate with brand teams, printers, and manufacturers, and often prototype physically to test how a package looks and performs. Generative tools speed up artwork adaptation, so original structural concepts and material and retail judgement carry the human value.
