Interior designer

An interior designer plans and designs the inside of spaces — homes, offices, shops, hospitality venues — balancing aesthetics, function, comfort, safety, and budget. The work runs from site visits and measurements through space planning, material and finish selection, drawings, and coordinating contractors and suppliers.

The role mixes creative vision with technical knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction, plus close client relationships. Visualisation tools assist with rendering, but site assessment, material sampling, and on-the-ground coordination keep the work physically grounded.
