An environmental graphic designer creates the visual systems that help people navigate and experience physical spaces — wayfinding, signage, donor walls, and branded graphics for buildings, campuses, and public areas. The work blends graphic design with spatial and architectural thinking, built to real-world constraints, materials, and accessibility codes.

Designers collaborate with architects, fabricators, and clients, moving from concept and drawings to installed, fabricated graphics. Generative tools produce visual concepts, but integrating them into specific spaces, meeting compliance, and coordinating fabrication keep substantial human judgement in the loop.
